Anchuruli picnic spot


Anchuruli is a wonderful picnic spot at Idukki District of Kerala. Its nearly 9Km
from the famous town Kattappana. Its an extension of Idukki dam. Here we can see
a tunnell of 6km length passing through a huge mountain!!!!!This may be the centre
of attraction of this spot.
This tunnel is used to carry water from a river known as ‘erattayar’ to Idukki dam.
Another tunnel is also there in Kallar to carry water to Idukki dam
